The very latest edition of the award-winning Senior Siren magazine was recently delivered to the main library in the Welsh market town of Abergavenny by SCLT trustee, Jon Williams.

The safety and lifestyle magazine for older adults originated in the South West of England 4-years ago and has steadily attracted more and more readers accross the United Kingdom and beyond. To date, the magazine has a readership in excess of 200,000 and is one of the leading, free, older adult magazines in the UK, with most of its readers able to download their copy from the SCLT website, or by picking up a hardcopy from a local public building or community group in many diverse neighbourhoods.

SCLT trustee Jon Williams said, "Aside from the many tips for older adults on crime and cyber-security, the magazine also contains a whole host of lifestyle items on subjects like gardening, cookery and health, as well as the popular Senior Spotlight feature. In this edition, the spotlight falls upon Lord Tom King, former Minister of Defence in the Thatcher administration and native of Bristol (UK)"

The Senior Siren magazine was a winner of the 2011 Public Sector Communication Award for community engagement and has been shortlisted in 2013 for the Best Publication category. Download your own edition below.
