SCLT Public Presentation Team Visit Cowbridge in South Wales

Monday 27th October 2014 saw the SCLT Public Presentation Team arriving in the pleasant Vale of Glamorgan village of Cowbridge, to join the weekly meeting of the popular Cowbridge Rotary Club.

The presentation took place in the impressive ballroom of the very well appointed Bear Hotel in the centre of the attractive village, where Ash was hosted to a pleasant dinner by the thriving group, prior to giving his 40-minute presentation on senior safety and the challenges faced by an aging population. The presention was followed by a lively question and answer session on doorstep and deception crime from the interested audience of approximately 50 attendees.

Ash said, "One of the true pleasures of being a member of the SCLT Public Presentation Team is getting the opportunity to travel throughout the country and to meet groups of interesting people in their own areas. I have really enjoyed meeting all the Cowbridge Rotarians tonight and very much enjoyed chatting and dining with everyone during the evening. I hope some aspects of my presentation will make the audience think about their own personal circumstances and how they can make a few, small changes that could make them safer in their daily lives"
