SCLT Public Presentation Team Visit Henleaze

April 15th saw SCLT volunteer Roger Ibrahim visiting a micro-group for vulnerable, older adults in the Henleaze district of Bristol City. The group meet every Wednesday to enjoy each others company, play games and often invite guest speakers to join them.

Although the group only has 6 members, the SCLT Public Presentation Team were pleased to send along its star presenter Roger, to entertain and engage the group with a senior safety presentation.

Following the event, Rog said, "Size really doe not matter when it comes to staying safe and speading the message of older adult well-being. Although we frequently give presentations to groups numbering 50+, it is equally enjoyable to join a smaller group where we can have a more intimate relationship with the audience "

"I was able to answer everyone's questions on safety at considerable length, and feel that I have made some good friends here today and as ever, each attendee received a personal copy of the award-winning Senior Siren magazine"
