SCLT Public Presentation Team Hosted by Bleadon Womens Institute
Continuing a busy opening day to the SCLT Public Presentation Team 2015 season, SCLT volunteer Ash Jones was hosted by the very spirited Bleadon branch of the Womens Institute (WI) for a late evening presentation which was focused on the history and evolution of the award-winning charity.
He said, "I have really enjoyed joining the ladies of the Bleadon WI for this evening's presentation on the SCLT Charity. There were about 85 people in the audience, which is just about as many that this lovely venue can take. Our Public Presentation Team have now established ourselves on the guest speaking circuit in the South West of England and in Wales, which is great way of promoting our work to the wider community and gaining new supporters and friends along the way"
The presentation to Bleadon WI included a question & Answer session on the work of the charity, with every attendee receiving their own copy of the latest edition of the award-winning Senior Siren magazine, which contains all the very latest advice on staying safe into later life, and how to get in touch with the SCLT to arrange a talk or presentation for your own community group.
