SCLT Volunteer Editor Delivers Latest Edition of the Senior Siren Magazine

Wednesday 5th July 2017 has seen SCLT volunteer Jon Williams out and about on the streets of Abergavenny in Gwent, delivering the latest copy of the Senior Siren magazine to key public buildings around the attractive, Welsh market town in the county of Gwent.

During his visit to the town, Jon delivered sufficient copies of the magazine to locations which are known to be visited by members of the older adult community, such as the police station, library and local coffee houses.

At the conclusion of his visit to Abergavenny, Jon commented, “Abergavenny is a darling of a town and on a warm, summer day, such as today, it simply cannot be beaten as a location to visit to see a beautiful Welsh market town. Statistically, we also know that Abergavenny has a hugh proportion of older adults who may benefit from reading our award-winning Senior Siren magazine. So it is my pleasure to visit the location and distribute copies of our publication.

This edition, features an interview with 5 x olympic champion, Sir Steven Redgrave, as well as recipes, crosswords and interesting lifestyle articles. Of course, all this is interspersed with a liberal helping of senior safety advice, especially how to avoid financial harm from scams and frauds - get your copy online today”
